Earlier this week, Shannon & I were invited to photograph up and coming singer/songwriter Bobby Long as he came to New York City on his first trip to the States - Bobby hails all the way from London.
One of Bobby's songs was featured in the hit movie "Twilight". He co-wrote the song "Let Me Sign" with Marcus Foster and the song was performed by the movie's lead, Robert Pattinson. With all of the attention on Robert Pattinson, it has brought a lot of new attention to Bobby Long....and rightfully so, he is extremely talented!
We were lucky enough to tag along to live performances at both Lakeside Tavern and Arlene's Basement Monday and Tuesday evening. On top of that, we were invited to sit in during Bobby and his manager, Phil Taylor of Up All Night Music's press junket at the Waldorf Astoria Tuesday afternoon. Even though their schedule became busier then expected, we were able to get an exclusive photoshoot outside with Bobby before the day was over. The pictures turned out fantastic and we are so grateful to Bobby and his great team!!
